How to Place an Ad

1. Submit your banner ad in GIF format (no larger than 15k). We accept sizes 125 x 125, 120 x 240 (for sidebar locations) and 234 x 60 for the top location on our Home page only.
2. Include the URL (Web site address) you would like us to link the banner ad. (Please read our link policy)
3. Select the placement location. If you see one of our banner ads we will be glad to replace it with yours.

We accept ad placement in up to 3 locations on these three pages:

Main Home Page (all 3 banner sizes)
Home Page - English Section (sidebar locations sizes only)
Home Page - Spanish Section (sidebar locations sizes only)

How to Order a Banner Ad

Don't have a banner ad? Let our associates create one for you.
You will then have an eye catching banner ad for placement on our Website
or use it for any other website marketing you wish!

Introductory Rate: $50 each (animated gif)

1. Select a size. SSI accept sizes 125 x 125, 120 x 240 and 234 x 60 (see location restriction above) or visit our associates at Pick Me & Moore for other size options.
2. Send us your artwork
• Logo in vector format whenever possible: call your printer and have them email it to us. If you cannot provide this format, and send us a gif or jpeg or tell us and we will get it off your website (note: quality may vary this way).
• Photo Images (for background, if applicable) - provide more than one so we can choose the best one for the ad.
3. Submit 2 to 3 very short phrases or your tagline - words that can be animated in a few seconds. Tips for writing concise, targeted text lines that will make the user 'click' on your ad.
   Ask yourself:
   • What (What are they trying to sell or tell?)
   • Who (Who are they selling it to?)
   • Why (Why would someone want this product or service. For example, this could be price info)
   • Where (Where will they get this product or service?)
   • When (When will they get this product or service – this could be a ‘time urgency’ message for example)
   What will make them ‘click’ on the banner? Look to our SSI samples for ideas – those ads are asking people who are interested in diving and getting certified for diving to choose SSI.
